Peter Hames

Peter Hames is the first members of the list to undergo the NVCC interview grilling process. For those who don't know him where have you been? He's only the clubs chairman.

What year did you join the Club and what or who made you join?

1976(i think) Robert Hales (Now at Mawdsley)

What type of player would you consider yourself?

All-Rounder but started as Fast Bowler

What is the funniest moment you have experienced on or off the field while at the club?

Too many to pick a single one

What is your aim for the new season?

just to hit one 6

Who is the best player you have played with at the club?

Batsmen Ian weir, Bowler Rob Houldsworth (and i wish i could have played with myself more often!!!!)

What's your favourite thing about New Victoria?

Family orientated

What has been your favourite tour so far and why?

All of them

What is your nickname?

Too many to mention but not many complimentary

What is your finest moment as a player?

Captaining in first season and gaining promotion to first Division (many years ago) +978 runs in one season

Where do you see New Victoria in 5 years time?

Rufford Road

Six Hitter

What is your best fielding position?

Without legs slip with legs anywhere

Who, in your opinion is the best cricketer you have faced?

My Brother down by the side of our house he could make the ball talk off the grid which was just on a length

What is your favourite on the field moment not involving yourself?

Martin Howard Running into the hedge at Rufford and leaving an imprint of his body in the Hedge.

Who do you think is the biggest prospect at the club?

John Hames if he is given a chance!!!!!!!.

Who is the team you enjoy beating most?

Use to be Crossens but now any club that thinks they are superior
